Installation Notes
This is the coupler body only – you’ll need the matching clamp (5001-4 or 5006-4 series) and dust plug (5205-4M series) to complete the assembly. Thread the NPT fitting into your hydraulic block with appropriate sealant, but don’t overtighten as it can damage the threads. These couplers need periodic service – O-rings wear out, dirt gets in the mechanism, and fittings need proper torquing. Pro tip: while you have the system apart, service all your couplers at once – if one is showing wear, the others aren’t far behind.
