We’ve all been there—you’re in the middle of a repair job when a bolt head snaps off or a screw strips out, leaving you staring at a busted fastener that’s not going anywhere without a fight. This EX-6 screw extractor is exactly what you need to get that stubborn hardware out so you can finish the job and get back to work.
What You’re Getting
- Works with a 13/32″ drill bit to create the perfect entry hole
- Removes bolts and screws from 5/8″ to 7/8″ diameter plus metric sizes 16mm to 22mm
- Handles threaded fittings like 3/8″ NPT and 3/8″ BSP that get seized up
- Hardened steel construction that bites into broken fasteners without slipping
- Left-hand spiral design that turns the extractor counterclockwise as it grips
Built for Real Farm Work
Farm equipment takes a beating, and sometimes bolts just don’t cooperate. Whether you’re working on hydraulic fittings, exhaust manifolds, or implement attachments, this extractor tackles the medium to large-sized fasteners that commonly break on tractors and equipment. It’s especially handy for those pipe fittings and larger bolts that hold brackets, covers, and heavy components in place.
Made to Last
This isn’t a cheap tool that’ll break the first time you put some muscle behind it. The hardened steel construction handles the torque you need to remove stubborn fasteners, and the precision-cut spiral grips tight without camming out when things get tough.
Installation Notes
Start by drilling a 13/32″ hole in the center of the broken fastener, then thread in the extractor counterclockwise until it bites. As you continue turning left, the extractor will grab the broken piece and back it out. A little penetrating oil beforehand makes the job easier, and take your time—rushing usually makes things worse.
