Up for sale is a vintage Boxwood LEAD DRESSING Stick/ MALLET with a fantastic colour to the wood.Used for beating lead sheet into shapes for flashings around chimneys & pipes.
It’s made out of a heavy & dense timber- probably Boxwood, a slow growing dense timber that is ideally suited for lead dressing sticks, virtually impossible to source these days, most new ones are plastic.

CONDITIONThis Lead Dressing Stick is in authentic vintage condition, wear & tear consistent with age & use, still very usable, nice to have a timber one, it feels nice & weighty in the hand.Please check the photos as they are part of the description.
