Vintage tools – hammer N1697
Up for sale is an incredible and unique vintage hand made three hammer presentation set – comprising of a BALL PEENCROSS PEEN& European CROSS PEENHAMMER.
Hand made, with rosewood handles & mirror polished heads. The European pattern hammer has a date stamp of 11/6/1932 on the side of the head.
The custom fitted western red cedar box has half blind dovetailed ends & all of the brass hardware has the screws clocked perfectly in alignment.
Ball peen: 270mm long x 77mm long head & 11mm face, stamped 23/32
European pattern: 270mm long x 102mm long head x 10mm square face, stamped 11/6/1932 & 31/8
Cross peen: 270mm x 77mm long head & 11mm face, stamped 17/8
Weight – 1.5kg
Box size: 303mm x 130mm x 130mm
CONDITION
This presentation hammer set is in authentic vintage condition, nowear & tear. Tidy with minimal specs of storage rust & some dings and scratches to the box exterior. A lovely lovely set & the best that we have ever seen.
