Up for sale is a fantastic early style antique European / Continental style hand BRACE with its original shapely handles & the skinnier & flatter chuck socket that Scandinavian and French braces sometimes have.
***NOTE: this brace will not take standard square tapered bits.***
They do the job very well, in fact better than a lot of more complex “bells & whistles” braces.
8″ sweep and unsigned, unusual to find in Melbourne.

The bit is not included in this listing however many various bits are available in store or upon request CONDITIONThe brace is in authentic vintage condition, wear & tear consistent with age and use. It’s a very old brace & still works well enough. Unusual to find a flat socket brace.Please check the photos as they are part of the description.
